Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 7, 2026

Brad Maule for Mayor (“Campaign,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains the types of information we may collect through BradMaule.com and its related pages and forms, how we use that information, and the choices available to you.

This policy applies to information collected through BradMaule.com and campaign-controlled forms or pages linked from the website. It does not control the privacy practices of websites, social networks, video platforms, or other services operated by someone else.

Information You Provide

You may choose to provide information when you:

  • sign up for campaign updates;
  • submit a contact form;
  • provide your name;
  • provide your email address;
  • optionally provide a mobile telephone number;
  • send us a message;
  • request information; or
  • otherwise communicate with the Campaign.

Depending on the form, some fields are optional.

When you make a communication choice, we may also record whether you affirmatively requested email or text-message communications.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the website, certain technical information may be collected automatically by the website or the services used to operate it.

This may include:

  • Internet Protocol address;
  • browser type;
  • device type;
  • operating system;
  • referring page;
  • pages viewed;
  • date and time of access;
  • landing page;
  • UTM campaign parameters;
  • interaction and performance information; and
  • cookies, local storage, or similar technical data.

We may use this information to operate the website, understand how visitors find and use it, maintain security, improve performance, and evaluate campaign communications.

How We Use Information

We may use information collected through this website to:

  • respond to messages and requests;
  • provide information you requested;
  • send email updates when you have requested them;
  • send text messages when you have separately and affirmatively consented to receive them;
  • maintain communication preferences;
  • manage campaign contacts;
  • understand how visitors reach the website;
  • evaluate the effectiveness of campaign communications;
  • operate and improve the website;
  • prevent abuse, fraud, or security problems;
  • comply with applicable law; and
  • maintain records reasonably necessary for campaign administration.

Email Communications

The Campaign sends campaign email updates only when you have affirmatively requested them. Providing an email address to contact the Campaign does not, by itself, enroll you in campaign email updates.

If you request campaign email updates, we may send campaign news, event information, announcements, and related communications.

You may unsubscribe from campaign marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe method provided in those messages.

Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not prevent us from sending a message that is reasonably necessary to respond to an inquiry you initiated.

Text Message Communications

Providing a telephone number does not, by itself, authorize campaign text messages.

The Campaign is not currently using BradMaule.com to enroll visitors in recurring campaign SMS updates.

If campaign text-message updates are offered in the future, SMS consent will be requested separately and affirmatively. Providing a telephone number or submitting another website form will not, by itself, constitute consent to receive campaign marketing text messages.

Any future SMS program will provide applicable information concerning message frequency, message and data rates, help, and opt-out instructions.

Mobile Information

Mobile telephone information will not be provided to another organization for that organization’s own marketing or promotional use.

Service providers that process communications on behalf of the Campaign may receive mobile information only as reasonably necessary to provide those services.

If the Campaign later offers SMS communications, SMS opt-in information and consent will be treated as restricted communication-preference information.

How Information Is Processed

We may use service providers to help operate the website and campaign communications.

These may include services used for:

  • website hosting;
  • customer/contact relationship management;
  • email delivery;
  • text-message delivery;
  • analytics;
  • security;
  • data processing; and
  • campaign administration.

The Campaign currently uses BizStackPro/HighLevel for contact management and campaign communications and Zoho for ordinary email services.

Service providers may change as campaign needs change.

We do not authorize service providers to use campaign contact data for their own unrelated marketing purposes.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical practices intended to protect information.

However, no website, network, electronic transmission, or data-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You should avoid submitting highly sensitive information through public website forms.

Data Retention

We may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for:

  • the purpose for which it was collected;
  • communication preferences;
  • campaign administration;
  • legal or reporting obligations;
  • dispute resolution;
  • security; or
  • other legitimate operational needs.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, it may be deleted, anonymized, or archived as permitted by law.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

The website or services used to operate it may use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar technologies for purposes such as:

  • site functionality;
  • security;
  • remembering session information;
  • attribution;
  • performance; and
  • analytics.

You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings.

Disabling some browser storage or cookie functions may affect website functionality.

Children's Privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13, and the Campaign does not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13 through its campaign forms.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through this website, contact us so we can review the matter.

Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies to you, you may have rights relating to your personal information.

You may contact the Campaign to request that we:

  • correct inaccurate contact information;
  • update communication preferences;
  • explain information associated with your website submission; or
  • consider a request to delete information that is not required to be retained.

Some records may need to be maintained because of legal, reporting, security, or campaign-administration obligations.

Third-Party Websites

BradMaule.com may link to websites and services operated by other organizations, including social media and video services.

Those services have their own policies and practices.

The Campaign is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, availability, or content of websites it does not control.

Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the campaign, website, technology, or legal requirements change.

The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
